I vaguely remember hearing about synesthesia before. What a unique way of perception. If this study is showing the interconnectedness of visual and auditory input, it may be that people with synesthesia have even more connections than average.

Would this have anything to do with finding an object you are hearing? Listening to birds in a tree for instance. I can find which one it is by looking and hearing.

I agree,sometimes i can see whats being said but i can't hear what they see,...excuse me....i just heard some ice cream in the freezer....
