Mexican president vows to clean up corruption

The word on the street among average Mexicans is that president Felipe Calderon IS the main source of the problem, that Calderon and his allies in one of the main drug cartels are trying to wipe out the other drug cartels. Oops, I'm sorry, it is totally politically correct to think such a think might be going on in Mexico.

Screw Mexico. Get the security fence built. Fortiy and secure our southern border. Deport all of their citizens in the USA illegally.! Viva la Revolucion!

MAYBE he should start with himself. Most of Mexico's presidents have been corrupt in years gone by.Talk is cheap. What we would like to see is an honest President who will do something good for Mexico instead of accepting bribes from drug lords and crooked politicians. Create good jobs for the citizens, and maybe they will stay home.
The Mexican people deserve better.

What Constitution? The W and his croonies have shreded it to peices. Its too late now , we want open borders. Its all part free trade like you guys said.

Have you noticed that La Raza is now nothing more than just words and that they are not jumping up anymore to be noticed. I guess they are thinking twice about wanting to take over some states with bad economy. Last year, as a matter of fact, He demanded $45mil. with a "no questions asked" policy on accountability, to help Him battle the cartels.
The US offered $15 mil. and condititions of accountability, He flat-out refused.

So, We(The US Tax-Payers) gave Him the $45 million bucks, on His terms, of course.

I can see that the money was well-spent...

Screw Him, make Their Nation pay for ALL of His Citizens living in Our Country, and immediate pay-back for all of the services incurred...Then maybe We'll consider tossing him a bone.

I want Mexicans, Guatamalians, I want all the Central and South American immigrants. Send the all here...spread the wealth around to all the countries south of Mexico, not just Mexico. REMISA for all Spanish speaking countries!!!

Another million and he alloews everything to cross the border, just like the others. The reason it's so easy to do business in Mexico is that the president's only have a single term to get all the graft they can. Then it's understood they move off and keep their mouth shut, so the next family can get it's share.
Kind of like 'spreading the wealth around'.

What you're describing is the daddy Bush NAFTA plan. Clinton only signed what was already in place.

You can go back as far as Reagan to find the grand daddy of the initial NAFTA concept but daddy Bush talked Mexico into joining his vision of the full union - complete with handshakes and signatures.
