Out of line cop

On November 1, 2008 a retired LAPD officer by the name of Hinman accousted me while I was sharing a few minutes with a fellow veteran across the street from the Brentwood Presbyterian Church.

I was sharing a can of beer. Officer Hinman grabbed the can (without provocation and without identifying himself) and then poured the beer into the street---he then threw the can at me with force and warned the veteran I was with (a long-time poet who is seen every day at this corner) that he would "Lose his corner" if he continued to hang out with me.

LAPD Officer Hinman is a bully and should not be allowed to carry a badge or gun...he has proved that he is unstable and a danger to the community he claims to have served.
