Here we go again....O.K., let's cut the training for the Fire department so when a Firefighter gets killed because lack of training His / Her family can sue the City........

Less bullets for the Police Dept.??? Are they going to start throwing rocks????

Cutting the Fuel for the Fire Dept.?? If your house is on fire, dont call Rio Vista Fire, They won't be able to respond cause they have no diesel.

Well I guess if the citizens don't want to pay for thier services then that is what will happen. I think that mentality here is that we have to run the city like it is Fairfield or Vacaville. People in our town don't want to admit that we are so small and havent grown our services and revenues congruent to our growth (especially with Trilogy at the majority). And unfortunately the history is that they don't want to pay for anything either.

I feel sorry for Hector, who came, evaluated the broken system left by the previous manager and was tasked with finding a cure for the hemmoraging, unfortunately you are shooting the messenger and not the people who got us here in the first place. Don't talk about wanting to fix things and then blaming the person bringing the solutions.
