It's odd how this piece is suddenly one of the 10 most emailed in the last 12 hours and the original post and comments are lost in cyber space. Good think I found it
http://www.topix.com/forum/home/TP8KFNAMG2O9M... but the regulars will recognize missing comments that question the kickbacks that the paper or Brook receive from one agency in town for mentioning it in EVERY real estate article that shows up in the paper. It could be an English professor at NMSU is using it as an example of how poor research skills present an illusion of fact and wants the students to critique it and present ideas on how to properly research a paper and use logic to explain issues that affect the 'falling sales'. Why not use the LCAR data and not the numbers provided by "Steinborn Inc. Real Estate Research Department"? Look at all the pretty graphs Mr. Sandler uses and posts for the public to view http://garysandler.com/market_data.php Now that paints a picture. |

Real Estate in most of the country will not compare to the values in Hawaii, Mr. CKO. How would you know about the LC economy or crime?

1 Mitzy, I don't know who CKO is, but the location of his IP is not necessarily an indication of where he lives. It is automatically picked up, he could be using satellite Internet with the server located in Hilo and be typing next door to you (or me, for that matter) and it would display Hawaii. |

I wouldn't buy a house there in Las Cruces at all. The school systems isn't that great, there is too much gangs there.

1 Now that we have confirmation, it is safe to say that trolls have invaded Hawaii. TROLL: An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion. |

1 You dream of having enough wit to be a troll. The posts you pull, dripping, from your rectum are barely even English. |
